OUR STORY
Guyala Yimba means “Listen, Sweetheart” in Ghungalu language.
The name is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply and reconnect — with ourselves, our culture, our community and the people we walk alongside.
Guyala Yimba exists to create spaces where women can reclaim identity, reconnect with culture and strengthen community.
We believe wellbeing is not only individual.
It is relational.
It is cultural.
It is connected to who we are, where we come from and the people we walk alongside.
Our work is grounded in Aboriginal cultural practice and lived experience, while creating space for connection across Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Pasifika communities.
Through mentoring, cultural practice, creative expression and community, we create opportunities to return to ourselves, strengthen our relationships and reconnect with the knowledge, culture and strengths we carry.
Come home to yourself.
